Michael was frustrated with sores and ulcers caused by the biting of his tongue and gums due to the incorrect function of his natural teeth and an old part denture.
He faced continual discomfort when chewing, which made him anxious about the foods he could eat.
“I had an ill-fitting denture and many broken teeth which were very sore and giving me a sore mouth and ulcers all the time.”
At his first appointment, Michael only expressed an interest in addressing the discomfort caused by his old teeth and hadn’t given much thought to how his new teeth could look.
After a detailed consultation and the help of our digital smile design technology, it was decided that Michael’s old denture would be removed and replaced with a dental bridge and his old dental crowns replaced with new ones to improve the complete function and appearance of his smile.

“It’s giving me more confidence but mostly it’s just the comfort. Not feeling the soreness all the time and, you know, looking at something to eat and thinking oh I don’t know, I’m not sure I can eat that it really gets you feeling down”.
